Safeguarding Children

DiamondBacks Hockey Club is committed to providing a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for every child and young person. We support Hockey Australia’s Safe Hockey framework and Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy.

Code of Conduct

Everyone involved with DiamondBacks has a role to play in creating a positive and respectful hockey environment. Our Code of Conduct sets clear expectations for players, coaches, officials, volunteers, parents and spectators, both on and off the field.

Report a Concern

We want every member of our club to feel safe, supported and confident speaking up. Concerns about safety, bullying, harassment, discrimination, abuse or inappropriate behaviour can be reported confidentially to the club so they can be addressed promptly and respectfully.

Member Protection

DiamondBacks is committed to creating an inclusive hockey environment where every person is treated fairly, safely and with respect. The Member Protection Policy outlines how our players, families, coaches, officials and volunteers are protected from bullying, harassment, discrimination, abuse and other unacceptable behaviour.
